I learned how to spot social trends, create sharable and viral content, frame stories for several audiences, and brainstorm and pitch videos and posts. During the fellowship, I curated, packaged, and wrote about both BuzzFeed and external videos for articles that gained over 2.4 million views individually and over 22 million views in total. I also completed a minor in Creative Writing, focusing on short fiction and prose. I received a Chappell Lougee grant in the summer of 2011 to travel to Ireland and produce a creative piece.
